Managing Director
Peter Darlington
Peter Darlington is the Managing Director of CMS UK and Director
of the E-CO2 Project. He is also an active livestock
farmer with dairy / beef / sheep farming experience.
Along with his Co-Director Nicola Darlington, Peter set up
CMS UK in 1997 which has now developed into the CMS UK - Rural,
Business and Renewable Energy Consultants, and the E-CO2
Project - providing Energy & Carbon Assessments. Peter is
an experienced operator of Farming and Livestock Assessment
Schemes as well as a food sector adviser and consultant. He
has developed IT software approved by the Carbon Trust (PAS2050
LCA) to calculate, on farm, the actual Carbon Foot Print for
Dairy, Beef and Sheep production systems.

Business Development Manager
Keith Roberts
Keith joined CMS UK in April 2004 and he developed our very
successful Rural Services and Planning Team. He is an experienced
advisor and consultant to the agricultural & rural sector,
having 31 years previous experience working for ADAS, MAFF/DEFRA
prior to moving to CMS UK. His experience and specialisms include
Biomass Energy Crops, Renewable
Energy systems, Environmental
Schemes, Organic Farming, Single
Payment Scheme, land use planning applications, land reinstatement
and restoration works.
He works across the range of the services provided by CMS UK,
and would be very happy to discuss your needs with you and advise
accordingly.

Team Manager / Environmental Consultant
James Wynne
James joined CMS UK in April 2010 and deals with Environmental
Consultancy work. He specialises in the Single
Farm Payment, Environmental
Stewardship, Woodland Grant
Scheme, NVZ compliance, Business
management and planning.
James graduated from Harper Adams University College in 2007
after completing a degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management,
and he joined the CMS UK Rural Services department from a rural
surveyors practice in Shropshire. In addition to his Environmental
work, James Wynne manages the work of the Rural Services Team
at CMS UK as it continues to expand.

Planning Consultant
Dominic Cooney
Dominic has joined CMS UK after working as a Planning Officer
for a Local Planning Authority in Cheshire, and deals with planning
related matters including planning
applications for wind turbines and other renewable energy
projects, agricultural buildings and farm
diversification projects.
Dominic has an MSc in Environmental Planning and Management
from Liverpool John Moores University, and is currently a Licentiate
member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.

Planning Consultant
Sally Bowdler
Sally deals with planning applications
and specialises in planning applications for wind
turbines. She joined CMS UK in 2009 and has a BSC in Land
Management from the University of Reading. Sally lives on the
family dairy farm in Shropshire and is a keen member of the
Alberbury YFC.

Rural Consultant
Joanne Stonier
Joanne covers both Environmental work and Planning applications.
She joined CMS UK in September 2011 and has a 1st Class BSc
Honours degree in Applied Environmental Science and Physical
Geography from Keele University.
Joanne lives on the family farm in Cheshire, and is an active
member of her local Young Farmers Club in Congleton.

E-CO2 Consultant
Chris Davies
Chris joined CMS UK in 2007 to work on Entry
Level Scheme applications for dairy farmers in the North
West. He has increasingly taken on responsibility with 'The
E-CO2 Project' a joint venture with Kite Consulting
providing carbon footprinting services to the livestock sector.
Chris graduated from The University of Reading with a first
class honours degree in Rural Environmental Sciences. Originally
from a family farm in Shropshire, he now lives in Caversham,
Berks.

E-CO2 Consultant
Andrew Wynne
Working within 'The E-CO2 Project' team as a consultant
providing carbon footprinting services for the livestock sector.
Andrew works on the continued development of 'The E-CO2
Project' software along with carrying out farm assessments and
data analysis of the results within this developing topic.
Graduating in 2009 with a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Geoscience
Andrew then went on to complete an MSc in Applied Environmental
Geology at Cardiff University along with becoming a Fellow of
The Geological Society. He is a member of Alberbury YFC currently
holding the role of Vice Chairman (2010-2011) and he is a keen
sportsman.

Assistant Quality Manager
Rachel Mountford
Rachel works within the E-CO2 Project team liaising
between Purchasers, Farmers and Assessors and is also Assistant
Quality Manager of the Certified Quality
Systems at CMS UK.
Rachel joined CMS UK from a firm of Land and Estate Agents
in Mid Wales. She previously studied at Walford Agricultural
College where she gained a National Diploma in Countryside Management
and then at Harper Adams a BSc (Hons) Rural Enterprise and Land
Management. Rachel is from a Beef and Sheep Farm in Mid Wales
and is also an active member of her local Young Farmers Club
and also Shropshire YFC Rally Chairman for 2010/2011.

IT Developer
Anthony Wray
Anthony is a software developer working on the E-CO2
Project; his varied experience has given him a dynamic approach
to the challenges presented ahead.
Anthony has a strong aptitude for IT and software development
which after gaining a Btec National Diploma in ICT has lead
to him working in Blue chip organisations, software houses and
SME's. Outside of work Anthony has a keen interest in anything
with wheels from mountain biking to his beloved Honda CBR600
RR!

Administrator
Sara Ammar
Sara works with the E-CO2 team providing administrative support
and assistance with the delivery of the E-CO2 Project. Prior
to this, she completed an internship with an international development
charity and holds a BSc in Mathematics.

Administrator
Emma Moss
Emma left school after completing her A-Levels and now works
within the E-CO2 team. Prior to starting with CMS
Emma was an administrator with a local agricultural business
and she now provides administration support to the E-CO2
team. She is a keen member of Sandbach Young Farmers Club being
chairman 2010 - 11 and is a past Dairy Maid of the Cheshire
Federation. She lives on a dairy farm in Cheshire.

In addition to the above staff who work from the Crewe office, CMS
UK has a team of assessors and consultants who are home based at locations
across the UK.
