Farm Services

CMS UK offer a range of specialist services to farmers and landowners on the Single Farm Payment Scheme, and the Environmental Stewardship Schemes.

The consultancy and advisory services are managed by CMS UK Director - Keith Roberts who has over 30 years of experience of land management and dealing with Defra grant schemes, having previously worked for ADAS, FRCA and Defra's Rural Development Service.

A team of trained and experienced CMS UK staff are also available to assist farmers and landowners with these professional services.

Single Payment Scheme

• Advice and assistance preparing the annual claim for the Single Payment Scheme (SPS).
• Acting as agent to applicants and managing claims in respect of the SPS.
• Registering changes to field boundaries and transfer of SPS Entitlements with the Rural Payments Agency (RPA).
• Dealing with correspondence and representing clients and in respect of disputed claims and underpayment by the RPA.
• Representing clients in respect of SPS Stage 1 & 2 appeals to the RPA.

Environmental Stewardship

• Preparing and submitting Entry Level Stewardship (ELS) or Organic Entry Level Stewardship (OELS) applications to Natural England.
• On farm one to one discussion with experienced staff, and advice on Environmental Stewardship options tailored to your requirements.
• Drawing up the Farm Environment Plan (FEP) and preparing Higher Level Stewardship (HLS) applications.
• Acting as agent to applicants in respect of Environmental Stewardship applications.
