General Quality Statement

CMS UK wish to ensure that the ongoing requirements of our customers remain properly specified, understood and agreed and are satisfactorily met first time, on time, every time. To meet this objective CMS UK operates within a Certification Body under the stipulations of BS EN 45011:1998 general requirements for bodies operating product certification systems.

Certification is achieved following clearly designated procedures, which form part of the CMS UK Quality System (CQS). These include certification application, assessment, issue, appeal, complaint, suspension and withdrawal. The integrity of CQS is maintained through ongoing surveillance and spot-check-assessments as determined by a schedule managed by the Quality Manager.

CMS UK hold regular team meetings to obtain constructive feedback ensuring the CQS remains the valid baseline for operations.

Through continuing professional development, and under the Investors in People initiative, consultants and assessors are required to keep their knowledge current in respect of the scheme being operated. CMS UK is committed to its own continuing improvement in all it does through the implementation of its quality system.

All employees are key members of the Quality Team, demonstrated by CMS UK's commitment to Investors in People. The staff are trained to ISO 9001 & Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP).

CMS UK is well versed in managing a team of diverse skills to achieve consistent results through due application of quality principles, and by obtaining feedback through 'Voice of the Customer' (i.e. from farmers, dairies and corporate clients).
