CEVAS Part 2 Certification (New Applications and Renewals)

We regret to have to announce that CMS UK have been informed by the Access To Farms Partnership that the farm accreditation element - CEVAS Part 2 Certification, will cease on 31st December 2011.

You may be aware CEVAS is owned by the Access To Farms (ATF) Partnership and CMS UK are contracted to provide the CEVAS Part 2 Certification. As a result of the above announcement, CMS UK have been instructed by ATF not to process any new applications or renewals from 12th September 2011. We must therefore suggest you do not forward any CEVAS documentation to CMS UK at this moment in time.

We are sorry for the effort you may have made to submit the CEVAS Part 2 Certification application, but the scheme will unfortunately be wound up from January 2012 and the Access To Farms Partnership will be in contact with members shortly to explain the detail.

CMS UK have worked closely with the Access To Farms (ATF) Partnership and Farming & Countryside Education (FACE) to develop the CEVAS Part 2 Certification Scheme. In fact it was CMS UK that drew up the first Part 2 Certification Scheme. It is therefore disappointing that the uptake has remained rather low as the sector dealing with Educational Visits has not embraced Part 2 of the scheme.
